Kerry May
The Employee of the Month goes to Kerry May.
Kerry has only been with the company for a relatively short period of time and has shown herself to be a very hard working employee. Her attitude is always positive and she is always willing to help and assist others. In this short time, Kerry has grasped her responsibilities well and built up a good rapport with her work colleagues and the companies’ referrers. Kerry is certainly a vital link within the department she works.
Congratulations and well done Kerry.

Harby Ismail
The Employee of the Month goes to Harby Ismail.
Since Harby has been working and focusing entirely on marketing for Alexander Samuel, I have seen his figures increase every month to a current level that is very impressive. Harby markets in a very “cut throat” business and does a job that is sometimes very lonely and needs that gift of being able to self motivate. I have over the last 6 months or so, spoken with some of Harby’s referrers and they all seem to hold him in high esteem and have a lot of respect for him and they appreciate the work and time and effort he puts in to helping and assisting them.
Thanks Harby for all your hard work.

Darren Hutton
The Employee of the Month goes to Darren Hutton.
Darren is hard working, conscientious and a safe pair of hands. He is prepared to walk the extra mile and never objects to do overtime when this sometimes is needed. His drafting skills are extremely good and he deals with difficult clients and third parties politely but firmly. Darren is almost always good tempered and has a lovely sense of humour.
Thanks Darren for all your hard work.

Kailey
The Employee of the Month goes to Kailey Bannerman.
Kailey has only been with Alexander Samuel and Co. for just over 4 months and in that short time she has shown true commitment to the role of fee earning. Her attitude and personality has been first class and her positive approach to her job has produced some very impressive results. Kailey has fitted in exceptionally well and clearly has the respect of not only her work collegues, but also her peers. I am looking forward to Kailey continuing this impressive start and being an integral part of Alexander Samuel and Co's growth.

Lisa
Employee of the Year 2006 – Lisa Robinson
Lisa joined Alexander Samuel and Co. Solicitors in March 2006 and subsequently to this award had been proud winner of Employee of the Month in August 2006. Lisa’s professional and bubbly personality have resulted in her being the unanimous choice amongst her fellow colleagues. Lisa is very much the face and voice of the company and the many positive and congratulatory comments that I have received from clients give a mark of her total and utter professionalism towards the difficult job that she has. It gave me immense pleasure to award Employee of the Year to Lisa at our recent Christmas party and present her with her gift. Once again many congratulations to lisa and wishing her continued success at Alexander Samuel and Co. Solicitors..

JK
The Employee of the Month goes to Jeyakumar Mani (JK for short).
JK have been with us for more then a year and in this period of time he has proved himself to be a programmer/developer extraordinaire. JK’s dedication, work and achievements is touching everybody’s working life at Alexander Samuel & Co as well as its sister companies. Without JK we would not have the top of the line Databases and document system we all use everyday. Equally true, JK’s work is an ongoing process as he is constantly adding new features to our system. He is currently working on a web service interface especially designed for our referrers to interact with. JK is very approachable and deals efficiently and speedily with all Casebase problems or queries helping everyone within the company. Congratulations JK.

Elliot
The Employee of the Month goes to Elliot.
Elliot has been with the firm for less than 12 months and in such a short period of time has achieved great success with his figures/settlements. He has settled a vast amount of cases in the past few months and he reached the highest settlement in the firm for the month of October. Elliot's qualities are clearly not just about settling claims as he also very knowledgeable and experienced with other areas of the industry. Elliot has proved himself to be not only an important member of the Fee Earning department but also a good negotiator at all levels. Elliot is always there to lend a hand, share his knowledge with the team assistants and new members of staff in any department to further the first class service we provide to our clients and referrers. He has built in a few month an excellent relationship and strong ties with all his clients and referrers alike.
Keep up the good work!

Kenneth
The Employee of the Month goes to Kenneth.
Ken joined the firm in February 2006 and has since taken on a vital role, not only in EL/PL, but amongst all the Alexander Samuel & Co fee earners. Ken, with his years of experience in the industry, is a real asset to the firm. He has been responsible for many tasks and has taken on many duties. His dedication and due diligence when reviewing files has turned many files around with positive results. Furthermore, Ken has also proven to be a very skilled negotiator settling some very complex cases. Ken has been only too willing to help others and share his knowledge, never being afraid of going the extra mile assisting his colleagues with difficult cases; he exemplifies how one can be less individualistic and rather privilege the notion of working for the benefit of the firm as a whole. Ken, a real gentleman, carries out his duties with a smile. He remains calm under pressure, never complains and simply gets on with his job. Ken deserves this award for his valuable input and experience. Thank you and well done!

Lisa
The Employee of the Month goes to Lisa, by far the best receptionist we have ever had.
Lisa started in the firm mid-March and has over the past 5 months
proven to be an excellent ambassador for Alexander Samuel & Co.
She knows how to keep her calm, remain polite with whoever is on the phone
and be collected even when tackling large amounts of incoming calls.
Her position is one that demands constant focus. Lisa has successfully grown
into her role by taking on the responsibility inherent in being the
first point of call of our existing clients, new clients, fellow
solicitors or insurers. She clearly understands the importance of being
the voice of the firm.
Lisa is an impeccable representative of Alexander Samuel & Co as an entity,
giving a professional first impression, but also of us all individually.
There has not been a day when Lisa was not behind her desk smiling and her
positive attitude is felt and has been complimented on.
Nor can we forget to mention how much Lisa is appreciated by all her colleagues
for her outgoing personality, patience and support. I am sure we all agree she
highly deserves this award.
Congratulations Lisa and I hope you will be with the firm for a long time.

Employee of the Month: July 2006
Amanda
Employee of the Month for July 2006 goes to Amanda.
This month the award goes to one of our home grown success stories.
From modest beginnings with data entry in Customer Services,
our seat of power, to real glamour as a Partner’s Assistant,
(training with the masters), culminating as one of our crowning glory,
a top billing, fully fledged fee earner. This individual has consistently
worked hard over the years and has grown with us to make us proud.
She is a popular member of the firm but never lets her social whirl of a
lifestyle interfere with the real business of keeping the boys on their
toes on the costs front.
She is of course Amanda, one of our longest
serving members of staff who has proved to be an asset to the firm.
Having learned from the ground up she has gone on to make good use of skills
she has picked up and now runs a busy caseload doing what we do best,
offering a quality service to the client as efficiently as possible.
Amanda has shown that with hard work and perseverance anything can be achieved
and has done very well here.
Congratulations on your success Amanda. Long may it continue.

Nathan Meo
Nathan has been with Alexander Samuel for one year now,
and has proved himself to be not only an important member of the
marketing department, but a good all round member of staff.
Nathan’s punctuality has been first class and his attitude
in the office is very positive. He is always there to lend a hand
in any department in an attempt to continue the first class service
provided to the referrer.
Over the past year Nathan has learnt our product and has a great
understanding of what the referrer wants and what our company can
provide. He understands the constraints of each department, but
also balances the needs of our clients and referrers. He has built
an excellent relationship with our referrers, and has been an integral
part of our success and increase in business in 2006.
In June, the marketing department, once again, achieved record numbers
with incoming and accepted cases. Nathan has also been instrumental
in helping arrange successful corporate events for the company.
Keep up the good work.

Ivana Duskova
Employee of the Month for May 2006 goes to Ivana Duskova.
Ivana is one of the success stories of Alexander Samuel & Co. She
joined the company in November 2001 with no knowledge of the personal
injury market and with a very basic understanding of the English
Language. Ivana’s first role was as an office junior and then assisting
fee earners with their cases on a day to day basis. Ivana showed
an immediate ability to understand what was required and has now
been handling her own portfolio of RTA cases for a few years and
regularly manages to hit her monthly financial target. Ivana is
a very conscious and proactive fee earner who has a very good ability
in dealing with clients and referrers. She is always willing to
learn and is always trying to increase her knowledge of the ever
changing personal injury market. Ivana is well respected by all
staff and peers. Ivana is now fluent in English after many hours
studying. It is a pleasure having Ivana working within our company
and I congratulate her on this achievement.

Angela Hawkins
Employee of the Month for April 2006 goes to Angela Hawkins.
Angela only joined Alexander Samuel & Co and started in the Customer
Service Dept 3 months ago and in such a short space of time has
risen to all the challenges and has been a major success. She has
taken on the role of Account Manager to several major referrers
and has become well respected by all of these, with many complimentary
remarks being made. I have been very impressed by the way, Angela
has taken over much responsibility whilst her Manager has been away,
with the intention of ensuring that the department still hits its
targets and is driven forward. Even at stressful times, Angela still
works with a smile on her face and keeps a good and positive attitude
with referrers and colleagues. I do believe and hope that Angela
has a long and successful career with us.
Congratulations to Angela.

Employee of the Month: March 2006.
This month, I am going to break with tradition and give the award
for employee of the month to ALL OF YOU.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that in March we broke all
current records in EVERY department. This has been achieved due
to a lot of hard work by all of you. I also believe that some
of you have beaten personal records, so again many triumphs and
congratulations.
I thank each and every one of you for contributing towards a successful
March.
Many thanks.

Employee of the month: February 2006
Fatih Ozen
Fatih joined Alexander Samuel & Co. in May 2005 and at that
time would be the first to admit that he knew very little about
this industry. In a short space of time, Fatih has become a very
important part of the customer service team. He is dedicated to
the cause of investigating claims and assisting clients and referrers.
Fatih will go that little bit extra for the clients and referrers
and this is shown in his positive attitude and what he achieves
by the end of each month. He is also willing to help out other team
members and will work late to help the team achieve targets. I am
looking forward to seeing Fatih increase his knowledge of the industry
further during 2006 and make valuable inputs to the growth of the
company during that time.
Congratulations to Fatih.

Employee of the month: January 2006
Dean Payler
Dean has been with Alexander Samuel & Co. for just over 1 year
and from the start, took on a new case load with the sole intentions
of giving the clients, the best service, achieving good compensation
payments for them and recovering costs. Dean’s outlook of being
proactive has not faltered or diminished in that time and in fact
settlement figures have increased. Dean has for the month of January
raised the standard in the amount of cases settled.
At times when things were not always going to plan, Dean still remained
positive and cheerful and this outlook is reflected within the team.
Dean is an asset to the company and also his team and I look forward
to seeing him achieve his own personal goals during 2006.
Congratulations to Dean.

Stefano Caira
Employee of the month for December 05 goes to Stefano Caira.
I have been very impressed in the way that Stefano helps out other
departments outside of his normal scope and seeks work when he is
up to date and doesn't wait to be given work. He is constantly using
his initiative and there has been a marked improvement in Stefano's
all round work. He is liked by his work colleagues and seems to
get on with everyone around him. Stefano is certainly someone who
can be relied upon to complete a task without any fuss.
Congratulations to Stefano.

Employee of the month: November
Ross Rodway
Ross has been with Alexander Samuel for just under 3 years and in
that time he has shown a very high level of consistency as a personal
injury fee earner. Each month he regularly settles a good volume
of cases and brings in high sums in costs.
Ross's time keeping is exceptionally good and in the time he has
been with the company I can not recall him having more than a few
days off due to sickness. Ross has also taken on more responsibility
within the fee earning team and is often seen helping some of the
less experienced staff without any fuss. He has become not only
an asset to the team but also to the company.
I am looking forward to Ross becoming an even more integral part
of the company in 2006.

Employee of the month: October
Frederick Sibayan
The person who gets my award for October has been as a result of
the fact that he is always very enthusiastic and works hard all
day and every day. This month, I have seen him work when he was
clearly unwell and it would have been easier and accepted for him
to go home. He is working in a department that is going through
many transformations and has required him to get use to many changes
and systems immediately. This he has done without fuss and still
showed a major interest in what he is doing and trying to achieve.
He is not afraid to ask and is always there to help others. His
attendance and punctuality is excellent.
Congratulations to Frederick Sibayan.

Matthew James
Matthew works in our investigation dept and is required on many
occasions to work during the evenings and weekends to obtain instructions
from clients. Matthew carries out his duties without fuss and without
advertising what he is doing. He is very proactive and it is a pleasure
to have him on board. Congratulations to Matthew.
